Cybersecurity & Specialist Services

Clear advice for security concerns, lost files and specialist digital investigations.

Not every technology concern is an everyday support visit. Tell us what has happened and what you want to achieve. We assess the request, explain what CyberGuardia can handle directly and identify when a qualified specialist or referral is appropriate.

Cybersecurity

Understand your security concerns and strengthen protection for your devices, accounts and home or small-business network. Discuss security settings, software updates, access controls and practical next steps following a suspected compromise.

  • Review account protection, recovery options and multifactor authentication.
  • Discuss device and network settings, updates and backup arrangements.
  • Assess a suspected security incident and agree on an appropriate response or referral.

We agree on the systems and accounts included before starting. A security review does not guarantee that a device, account or network is free of threats.

Data Recovery

Get help assessing options for missing or inaccessible photographs, documents and other files. We discuss what happened, available backups and whether the work needs a specialist recovery laboratory.

  • Review existing backups and supported file-restoration options.
  • Assess the device or storage problem before agreeing on recovery work.
  • Explain when physical damage or complex recovery calls for a specialist.

Recovery possibilities, costs and next steps depend on the situation. Recovering files is not guaranteed, and any outside work requires your agreement.

Secure Data Destruction

Prepare an old computer or storage device for reuse, return or disposal. We discuss what needs to be preserved, the type of storage involved and an appropriate erasure or specialist destruction option.

  • Agree on the exact device and data covered, and confirm your authority to approve the work.
  • Discuss backups and what you want to keep before any irreversible action.
  • Identify whether specialist physical destruction or documented certification is required.

Erasure or destruction begins only after explicit approval of the agreed scope. Certified destruction is not included unless specifically arranged and confirmed in writing.

Digital Forensics

Discuss a suspected digital incident and options for examining relevant devices, files or account activity. We assess the request, discuss preservation needs and determine whether a qualified forensic specialist is needed.

  • Clarify the incident, your questions and the devices or accounts involved.
  • Agree on authorization, privacy boundaries and handling of relevant information.
  • Discuss specialist examination, documentation and referral where appropriate.

Tell us at the outset if information may be needed for a legal, insurance or employment matter. Formal evidence handling, expert reports and testimony require a separately agreed specialist scope. Findings or acceptance as evidence are not guaranteed.

What to Expect

  1. Describe the concern. Start with a brief explanation. Do not send passwords, recovery codes, private files or sensitive evidence through the request form.
  2. Review the scope and price. We explain what can be handled directly, any referral or outside provider, and the proposed work, timing and cost before you commit.
  3. Approve the next step. We agree on access, any information transfer, deliverables and follow-up. Additional work or charges require your approval.

Specialist services are assessed and quoted individually. Everyday support, bundle and membership session rates do not automatically apply. This is not a continuous security-monitoring or emergency-response service.

Request an Assessment

You do not need to know the technical term. Describe what happened and what you would like help with; we will discuss a sensible next step.
