CyberGuardia collects only the information reasonably needed to arrange and provide support, operate your private portal, and maintain business records.
Effective September 18, 2026. Contact support@cyberguardia.io or (301) 300-1716 with a privacy question.
Information We Collect and Why
Support and account forms may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, service preference, appointment location, and the description you provide. Approved accounts create a private portal login. The portal may show your requests, messages, appointments, membership, prepaid balance, invoices, and payment status. We use this information to communicate with you, deliver support, prevent abuse, keep accurate records, and meet legal obligations.
Information You Should Not Submit
Never place passwords, one-time or recovery codes, full payment-card numbers, medical information, identity documents, alarm codes, or home-entry codes in website messages. CyberGuardia does not need those details to arrange support. When you choose to pay by card, you enter your card details on Stripe’s secure payment page.
Storage, Access, and Service Providers
Website requests and portal records are stored within CyberGuardia’s website systems. Access is restricted according to account permissions: authorized staff can access the records needed for their assigned role, and clients can access their own records made available in the Client Portal. Guest support requests are not automatically linked to a later account. Guest invoices may be associated with a client account using the customer email address. Hosting, email, backup, security, scheduling, and payment providers may process limited information to provide their services. We do not sell personal information.
Our website uses necessary login and security cookies. The display widget stores text-size and contrast choices in your browser. The recommendation wizard keeps answers in memory until the page is closed or reloaded. A temporary keyed hash of the connection address helps limit repeated form submissions.
Security and Retention
CyberGuardia uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and size of the business. These include restricted administrator access, two-factor authentication, encrypted connections, private portal pages, access checks, security updates, backups, and activity records. No internet system can promise absolute security.
Support, account, appointment, and billing records remain while needed to provide service, maintain accurate business and tax records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Administrators may remove records when they are no longer required. Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup cycle ends.
Your Choices and Requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information by contacting support@cyberguardia.io or (301) 300-1716. We may verify your identity before disclosing or deleting a record. Some information may be retained when required for security, payment, tax, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.
Security Incidents and Policy Changes
CyberGuardia investigates suspected security incidents and provides notices when required by applicable law. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
