A good place to start

Let’s talk about your technology.

Tell us a little about the help you need. We will review your request and confirm availability, scope, and pricing before an appointment is booked.

Request Help

All fields are required unless marked optional.

Please do not include passwords, recovery codes, card numbers, or private medical details.

In-home means a visit to your location. Remote support is by phone or screen sharing. Choose “Help Me Decide” if you are unsure.

A few sentences are enough (10–2,000 characters). For a visit, include your town, not your full address. You may suggest a day; we will confirm availability.

Common questions about urgent technology requests

How do I ask for the soonest available help?

Call (301) 300-1716 and briefly describe the issue, your town, and whether remote help could work. You can also send a support request. We will tell you what time, if any, is available; a request is not a confirmed appointment.

Do you offer emergency or guaranteed same-day support?

No. CyberGuardia provides scheduled technology help, not emergency response. Same-day or after-hours availability is not guaranteed. For an immediate safety concern, contact the appropriate emergency service. For active account or payment fraud, contact the provider or financial institution through its official channel promptly.

Will urgent help have a different price?

We confirm the scope, appointment time, estimated price, and any travel charge before you agree. Do not assume that marking a request urgent guarantees a time or adds a fee.

Common questions about accounts and inquiries

Do I need an account to send a question?

No. You can send an initial support inquiry without an account. Its private email link lets you read and reply to that conversation for 30 days.

When do I need a Client Portal account?

An approved account is needed to request and manage calendar appointments, plans, and portal records. You can request an account from the Client Portal.

How do I create an account?

Submit the Request an Account form in the Client Portal. CyberGuardia reviews the request. If approved, you receive an email link to set your password.

Can I sign in with my email address?

Yes. Once your account is approved and your password is set, you can sign in with your username or the email address on your account.

Can I request an appointment before my account is approved?

You can send an initial question without an account. Calendar appointment requests and portal records need an approved Client Portal account.
